Awesome breathtaking and highly emotive photo. You have distilled in a single image the coldness, dread, sterility and emotion of a hospital without exploiting the human suffering. I have alot of respect for this photo and the courage to take it at souch an intense moment in time. My thoughts and soul go out for the recovery of your friends mother.

I love this. The person with their head in their hands sitting with their friend (relative?) trying to get through it together just pulls everything together nicely.
