ya' know there's no fucking category for "runway"! there's fashion ... there are other categories which were obviously created by non-pros ... but no runway.
what-the-fuck-ever. right? maybe even a category for just carmen! she's so not my type of girl ... that said ... i dunno why ... but ... i love photographing her. just got this frame back from the lab even though it was taken last week ... i made fucking 8 frames with my leica the entire night. that damn 85/1.2 has me mesmorized dammit. well ... not dammit ... it's fun as fuck to use. anyway ... i like this photo because it's not a typical runway photo ... nor is it the typical carmen photo ... and, yes, i was basically on the runway myself. no one ever tells me to move. then again, i have the "don't fucking say shit to me pass" ... the way i like it.  leica mp. 50/1.0 noctilux. 1/250th at f/2.8 and a half. ilford delta 400 (normal). lab scan. minor adj of levels and cont. p.s., i think i found another magnet for my fridge! in fact, i don't give a fuck if anyone likes any of the material i post at dA ... i'm just doing it so i can put new magnets on my fridge! |

I'm not a Carmen type of guy either, but that don't mean that I can't totally appreciate her, and her style.
Shit man, someday between the million other agenda-filling tasks and errands on your plate, you should write up a tutorial/guide on how to get one of them badges! "We don't need no stinking badges!" --> unless of course, they're like the ones you carry around, equivalent to the "Bad Mother Fucker" wallet Jules had.
I really like the pose (or the moment, perhaps best to say) that Carmen's in, and how the monitor behind her shows the different angle, but I also enjoyed seeing the different reactions and moments of the people in the crowd. I like the black guy's reaction in the bottom left and the David-Spade lookalike near the middle, seemingly checking to ensure his fly is zipped.
