there is so much more to fashion week than the front row and the runway ... backstage.

these girls -- with their long spindly legs -- worry about the runway. many would think that walking down a runway is easy. that there's nothing to it. well ... there is. their walk has been dictated. i don't wear heels -- well, in my past, perhaps, but that is something i'd rather forget -- and walking down the runway with a designer telling you "no ... sexy ... slower" is very difficult.

ever seen the news when they show a racehorse falling during a race. not pretty. falling on the runway is something none of these girls want to have happen. it's a crash of legs, heels and a lot of eyes. not to mention the designer will not request you for the next season.

that's what these girls are thinking about. that and if their rock star boyfriend is screwing some fan in prague.

I love the irony of the word 'single' on the wall. They look as anxious as the girls you see lined up at the bar waiting for someone to come and take them home... looking for love in all the wrong places.

It's funny, the whole drug-induced world of models and their arsehole boyfriends makes me feel sick, but I still have a weakness for the waif look, I just like skinny girls.
