homeless dog

whilst walking down some street in the middle of napoli i happened upon this dog. motionless. lifeless. i saw that he was breathing ... but ... he was just out of it.

i prefocused (off by a few inches) ... and put the camera at his level. did not want to get too close nor get on my hands and knees on this dirty ass street. if the dog would have waken, he would have bitten the shit out of me. i don't know that ... but ... perhaps.

i don't know why but this photo trips me out.
