i do. i covered the premiere of her new movie "North Country."

back in the day -- not that long ago, i mean, honestly -- she wasn't alll that huge. but she was cool. she went EVERYWHERE with her mother.

now she's always with stewart. also, very nice.

but ... charlize was one of the first people i saw on the red carpet that i thought, "fuck me, she's gonna make it. big."

guess it wasn't all that hard of a call.

seeing as how like eighty-fucking-percent of the people i see on any given red carpet or hollywoood party or bristol farms ...

they won't make it.

they don't have it.

the producer may say he loves you before handing you a towel...

but ... it ain't gonna happen.

like it has...

for charlize.

and she's got an oscar to prove it.

an amazing face.

and ... she's cool.

canon eos 1d mark 2. 70-200/2.8L. f/2.8. 1/200th sec. 800 iso. colour stripped and converted to b/w in PS CS through custom channel mixing. a bit of unsharp (the mark 2's need it -- but not in-camera sharpening). a kick in contrast. leveled out.
