i got a print request from this shoot. totally forgot about it. we (meaning ... i shot it but had 2 assistants, hair, makeup, a stylist and the designer) shot this for an la designer at the argyle hotel in the penthouse.

so much fun. no really. even though the makeup artist hated me (she and i used to date) ... and hair took for-fucking-ever ... i got about forty-five minutes to shoot.

okay ... above and beyond that bullshit ... i love shooting joline. i cast her WHENEVER i can. she's amazing. she just turns it on. and on.

suffice it to say that this went from a shoot to a party. maybe much to the chagrin of the designer ... no one would believe what fell out of my pocket in front of the designer when i was going for my light meter.

i don't roll my own cigarettes ... if you guys get the drift.

okay ... i just love joline's eyes ... and the thought of her drunk in my hotel bath.

nikon d1x. 17-35 f2.8. i believe i was shooting about a 60th at about f/8. 2400ws of hensel. some bounced. some in a large beauty dish on a boom. the fucking bathroom was cramped as hell.

I've always wondered why some girls, like Joline here, are still hot even though they have a big schnoz. It even adds to their looks in some odd way.

very sexy indeed :) that glass of wine is really fantastic. i like her pose, and expression. only thing that bothers my eye just a tiny bit is that corner of a carpet (?) on a lower left corner. but other than that, this is perfection to me, the lightning, tones and focus, and of course the model.
