first off, i don't get the fascination. i don't. really don't. yes, she's nice. yes, i've known her since she was 17.
what's funny is that we have this term: "Carpet Trash." not nice. but neither is hollywood. or life in any big city for that matter. she'd show up and it'd be like, "fuck me. paris is here. do i really need to make a photo?" but as time went on ... it got more interesting. she used to travel as a pair ... with her sister. now she's pretty much solo. what's interesting is this girl has made me more money -- mostly in domestic markets but also internationally -- than any one single subject. my agents license my rights to photos with her in it ... like no other. she's nice. i still don't understand the fascination. seemed like ... sex tape ... BOOM ... "simple life" ... KA-FUCKING-BAM... i shot this exclusively over the weekend. for a magazine ... but their embargo ended yesterday ... and i log onto my agent's system ... and ... again ... she's the NUMBER ONE DOWNLOADED entertainment subject... God love her. I sure hope he does. in a sick way i do as well ... but i'm not getting into that. canon eos 1d mark 2 with 70-200mm/2.8L at f5.6 (wanted a lot of sharpness to the face so the end-user uses it BIG for more fees). 1/200th. perhaps. 200 iso. minor levels and contrast. minor crop of purposeful negative space (for text). |

the fact that she is paris hilton makes me look only because she's famous.
I'm not interested in her fame, but more why she is famous.
now i avoid 'super star' obsession... but i always like to know a few, and have... as i am sure you have... but i would LOVE to hear some reason why i should look twice at miss hilton.
