one just knows when one presses the shutter sometimes. in fact, this was frame 36. i love when its frame 36. there is so much gratification in rewinding film when frame 36 is cool.

this girl was one of the quiet ones. she didn't really talk to many of the other models. i'm not sure if it was a language barrier or she just kept to herself.

i was standing around and felt like i needed to look behind me. there she was. trying ever so hard not to fuck up her recently applied makeup.

with a rangefinder you see the photo as you take it as there is not mirror flapping itself in front of your eye. for whatever reason this photo makes me feel peaceful. kinda like the trees but in a different way.

I always enjoy seeing your deviations in my messages. You are very good at capturing personal moments in crowded settings. Your work is inspiring and I hope you continue doing what you love.

That an amazing shot:#1:

what's frame 36?? :O
:iconluyelila:
Poor girl. All that careful effort just for water. But then, I suppose as a model she doesn't dare anything more.

Anyway, wonderful shot and fitting title. The fact that only she is in focus adds to the chaos factor of everything around her - well done.

this caught my eye, because, black and white photos nearly always do. but this looks more impressive than its thumbnail. so much can be read in that girl's look and in the blurred poses of the crowd. because, although i can make out only around five clear figures, the closeness and action of the photograph gives the impression of a lot of people in the room. a good capture.

don't read this

your use of blurring astounds me. This is often how I feel... especially in a crowded room. Out of place and disconnected. It's cool that you let me feel that same feeling with someone I would never have tried to relate with before.
