this was from the same series as the last submission. we were shooting for an la designer.
an la designer that probably hates me. not for the work ... just the hijinks on the ... um ... set.
believe it or not ... everything in this photo is supposed to be there. the three drinks. the cigs on the table. i purposefully didn't crop it ... it's full frame. we wanted to convey ... where's the third person. he's shooting.
i can't take credit for the tie-pulling ... that was the hairdresser's idea. he's my bro ... so ... i don't mind if someone has an alternative idea.
d1x ... when they first came out ... 17-35/2.8 (not known as a fashion lens but what the fuck) ... 2400ws of Hensel ... large chimera softbox on a boom ... some bounce from an assistant on a ladder holding a large foamcore board ... ah ... i think a 60th at f/8.
