don't remember. could have been.

but after i was done shooting and j was done with her pistacios...

well ... i dunno ... she may have not been eating pistacios ...

but ... she usually is.

no salt, thank you.

i like the salted ones.

whatever.

i have a friend who's a cardiologist.

perhaps she doesn't.

anyway ... when i made this photo ... there were three, actually.

the first was when she wasn't looking.

like another photo i made of her when i was just getting to know her.

and ... since i know her quite well now ...

i know that she's funny as hell, acerbic, caring, more intelligent than most ...

but she's amazingly beautiful ...

and she sooo sooo sooo stands out in a crowd.

my little veal.

i just remembered when i met her ... she just stood out.

she lights up the room.

and she lights up my whole being when i see her.

and what's so funny ...

not funny ...

but ... she becomes more and more incredible to me every day.

leica m6 ttl. 35/1.4 asph. 1/60th at f/1.4. ilford hp5 400 (+1 to 800). minor levels. +10 contrast.

I was touched by what you wrote (well, I laughed at first and then it got serious) but anyway it makes me feel bad that I couldn't help but notice the niples on the ceiling... and once I saw them I couldn't unsee them... :P

She does indeed stand out but it almost seems a shame that you pointed that out in the title. A lovely combination of focus and fortunate lighting. She seems to glow in the scene while everyone else is gray and dull. It's also cool that there's a parting in the people, allowing you to see her directly. The people at the bar seem to frame her.
