taken back on 5 may ... we had rain on cinco de mayo ...

just saw this on a contact sheet.

i love bright backgrounds ... even though it wasn't bright out ... must've been all the street lights and cars and taxis ...

wonder if he had any luck.

leica mp. 50mm/1.0 noctilux at 1.0. 1/60th. 400 iso (normal)

From what I've seen, you're very accomplished. All of your work is eye-catching and beautiful. Although I have to give props to the simple ones, they really bring out your personality, even if you aren't in them. Wonderful.

You make me want to buy a leica really bad, do you feel proud of this?

It just seems so impossible. I'm a digital person, i don't have time to do dark-room work! Stop tormenting me with your shots like this, i'll be... buying a leica soon. and be in dept. and be homeless....

... and then i'll probably get alot of great homeless shots.

no ... you won't get homeless shots because of your lack of money.

used leica gear isn't that bad.

you won't regret it!

Staff should be recognised for their talent as well Mr. Weeks.. I've always felt the staff is under appriciated here, and this piece deserves it... it made me (even more) interested in photography.

(I've been thinking about getting into photography on this site for quite some time, I've done fractals (didn't get recognised for that dispite trying to capture Administrators attention..), writing... which I'm still doing.. (not getting much recognition for that..), and the branch of this site that does seem to get attention is the Photography branch.. if your good.. you can get a lot of attention, really quickly.. I guess you could call me an attention whore..)

perhaps, staff should be recognized ... but ... people think we're popular enough. and ... we don't deserve any further recognition.

it's good to experiment mate!!!!!

totally!

it's alright to be an attention whore ... i know many!

cheers mate,
Chris

One again evrything is perfect! I like how the blurry background is a way to realize how the guy is up into the conversation with the girl, thinking about nothing else than her :) I like a lot his pose, he's like "hmmm this is definitely intersting" :)

Well done, I like that
