on my way with my dad up to their house in the mountains ...

we stopped at in-n-out. off the 210 somewhere. i'm usually on the phone the whole trip and the 134 turning into the 210 turning into some friggin' obscure freeway... i don't pay much attention.

it's not l.a.

i did notice this young couple. he stared at her the whole time. not in a loving way. in fact, i was hoping that my daughter never gets "that stare."

i swear ... sometimes i feel invisible. the leica is like somekind of invisible shield. maybe the fact i was projecting that his peripheral vision would not work. dunno.

she just seems so unaffected .... on the phone...

leica mp with 35/1.4 summilux at 2.0. 1/60th. ilford delta 400 (pushed +1 to 800)

Yeah, this is a picture you can actually stare on for a long time, and still you wonder what they both are thinking on. It's not just them staring :) Great capture! :thumbsup:

My godchild is 17...I have been living in low-level terror since she began adolnonsense.

i can only imagine.

perhaps if my daughter brings a knuckledragger home ... he'll have to witness a gun cleaning session with my friends.

could only imagine what he'd think with a bunch of really mean looking people ... drinking beer ... and cleaning guns .... lots of them.
