still can't believe this place is 10 years old. the 10th birthday celebration was at the house of blues. in between puppy training we went to see what it was all about. the first thing i saw were llamas on a red carpet...

blog is different. decided not to put this on the blog as it's way more relevant here.
they launched something called ... um ...
muro. i'm assuming it's a drawing tool/program.
they had panels discussing stuff.
i guess a lot of people send post cards to hq.
muro works with a wacom i think.
there was a room where people made stuff.
unsure what she was making.
dA is definitely a dichotomy.
spyed mingled before his key note speech.
made me laugh.
dunno why.
she went to the room where they made stuff. i suspect. the range of people here really blew me away. it was much different than the
dA summit back ... um ... a while back.
i'm pretty sure the place was full.
angelo did a series of a few different deviants with what they did 10 years ago and what they've done today. this one featured

lolly there, too. i think he lives in the woods somewhere.
angelo got two recognition-things. something was from the state and something else was from the city of l.a.
some forgot their
photos.
i, on the other hand, though, did not.
i've seen a lot of red carpets in my lifetime; this was definitely a first.
it was nice seeing a lot of people i know on dA but rarely see in person like
moonbeam13,
makepictures,
Waveswinger,
godofodd and
mccann. (i know i've forgotten people. sorry.)

p.s., all of the photos in this post were made with the
leica m9. the inside photos were at iso 800+ as there wasn't a hell of a lot of light but ... the fast glass worked well.
