The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

loved the new website.. sat and went through the entire site last night and it's very neatly done... minimal clutter, fast and extremely tidy looking with everything popping out when you click it and then going back to where it belongs
i like it muchly :)

are helicopters allowed to fly that close? i downloaded a few more lily allen songs after reading this. would hate to get on her bad side ;)

I love Lily Allen. I didn't want to just get the album because of the single that was out, so I kept listening to the little 30-second clips on Amazon. When the price dropped fairly low, I said what the hell and bought it; I'm so glad I did! :boogie:

Lilly's know as being a bit of a pain in the arse round here (London) at first she fooled everyone with her faux North London grittyness but then it turned out she lives NORTH North London, ie the posh bit.

I think I probably would have liked her music if she hadnt lied to everyone. Theres something quite cool about a posh bint who's a bit street, so why did she pretend she was something else?

Maybe I'm bitter about the fact that shes sucessfull and I'm to blind to see it ;)

Would be a shame if she had bought a dog just to enhance a fake image ;) But shes not that tough. She might be bigger in America if she hadnt canceled nearly all of her US tour due to being 'home sick' although I always wondered if it was a secret drugs charge.

However, I agree with the wordsmith tallent. I like the way she puts words together, I'm not sure how that could be faked unless she keeps someone very talented locked away in the basement.
